The ‘Stress Less Parenting Series’ is designed to empower parents and teenagers to be the happiest, best version of themselves. If you would like to stress less, improve your relationship with your teenager whilst helping your teenager learn valuable life skills, the One Day ‘Stress Less Teen & Parent’ Retreat, facilitated by Jai Caulfield-Caruso (Founder of Being Mindful Matters) is perfect for you and your teen.
This one day retreat will provide parents and their teen with proven scientific findings and very useful information on how to reduce stress and increase happy hormones, giving you tools and practical tips to take home and apply immediately.

Being the parent you aspire to be is arguably the most challenging job on the planet, and I believe anyone arguing about it hasn’t had their children for long enough, or they don’t have any. Either way, the pressure and stress of parenting can zap your energy faster than you can refill it, and can leave you exhausted, deflated, frustrated and short tempered just to name a few.
I believe the only thing worse than experiencing your own stress is watching your child suffer. And as anyone with a teenager would know if they are suffering, we all are! Teen years are full of many types of pressure and can be extremely hard and painful. Too much stress can lead to anxiety, depression, anger problems, and a lack of confidence and self-worth.

Due to mental health problems being so common in youth, parents need to be tuned in to know when their children are not okay and need further help. This series will introduce this important topic, and cover some of the behaviours to look for, what to say, and when to seek professional help for your chid if you’re concerned about their mental health.
