At what time is it the right time to stop and have a good think about things and evaluate your life? I don’t mean how much superannuation you have, but how to make the most of your time here and be truly happy. How happy are you now? Where do you want to be in the future, and why? How is doing ‘that’ going to make the most of your time here?
I’ve learned people are always happiest when they truly value time, and therefore choose to live in a conscious, mindful, and courageous way.
If there’s one thing we could all agree on across the world, it may be about time. It seems the older you get, the faster the clock ticks and the quicker time travels, and the quicker the new year is at your doorstep.
The time for setting your new year resolutions arrives, and many good intentions are thought of and possibly kept alive for a month or so before old habits creep back in, and we often set our good intentions aside until the next new years.
Unfortunately we don’t always put the guilt aside or the negative feelings we have about not doing what we know is good for us. They seem to stick to us like super glue.
People are more likely to stick to their good intentions when they have really explored their intentions thoroughly. Once you have asked many questions about why you want something, and why now, at this particular time, only then should you start to think about how you are going to nurture and support your intentions to come to fruition.
From my experience, people working with a Wellbeing Specialist or Coach are more likely to put their time to good use. To spend time and effort exploring their motives for what they think they want and adjust their intentions accordingly, keeping on their path.
Also, importantly receiving the support they need to keep them motivated to realise their intentions, saves much wasted time and energy on unrealised dreams, and stumbling across the same obstacles, the Universe puts in front of them time and time again until they choose to do something differently.
If you ever think about how precious time is, it’s wise not to throw it away. Always listen to what the Universe is telling you.
